Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation
Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah are the terms to describe the coming of age of a Jewish boy or girl. According to Jewish law, when Jewish children reach the age of majority they become responsible for their actions, and become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Brit Milah
Brit milah is a religious ceremony within Judaism to welcome infant Jewish boys into a covenant between God and the Children of Israel through ritual circumcision performed by a mohel ("circumciser"), on the eighth day of the child's life unless health reasons force a delay, in the presence of family and friends, followed by a celebratory meal (seudat mitzvah).

Wedding
When G-d created Adam, says the Talmud, he had two faces: one in each direction. G-d split him in two, and one half became Eve. That which was one, became two. Thus, when G-d brought Eve to Adam they were reunited as originally intended. Therefore, the union of man and woman is the reunification of a sundered soul. This is why a husband and wife are special to each other, for they can belong only to each other.
