Torah– The 5 books

The Torah, or "Instruction," is also known as the "Five Books" of Moses, thus Chumash from Hebrew meaning "fivesome”.Torah is typically translated "law," but it also means something like "instructions" or "directions".

The Mishnah

Mishna from the rout SH.N.H which is the word “Learned, Studied or review. The Mishnah is a major work of Rabbinic Judaism, and the first major redaction into written form of Jewish oral traditions, called “The Oral Torah”.

The Talmud

The Talmud (from the Hebrew work Lamad, Study) is a record of rabbinic discussions pertaining to Jewish law, ethics, customs, and history. It is one of the central books in the Jewish religion, second only to the Torah and Hebrew Bible.

The Five Scrolls or The Five Megillot

The Five Scrolls are parts of the third major section of the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh), which is Ketuvim ("The Writings"). These five relatively short biblical books are grouped together in Jewish tradition, and are located immidiatly after the 3 EMET (truth) books TANACH.

Nevi'im

Nevi'im- is the second of the three major sections in the Hebrew Bible, the Tanakh, between the Torah and The Ketuvim (writings).

Ketuvim

Ketuvim is the third and final section of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), after Torah and Nevi'im due to the fact that the happenings accrued at much later dates, most of them after the destruction of the 2nd temple.

The Book of Zohar

The Book of Zohar is the main book of the kabala (Jewish mysticism) trend. The book contains studies (midrash - homiletic interpretation) about the Torah (the Pentateuch) according to the portion of the week. The book tells us how it's possible to influence on the world by ours spiritual action.

The Book of Psalms - Tehilim

Psalms it’s a book with many kind of Psalms. He is the longest book in the Hebrew Bible included in the collected works known as the "Writings" or Ketuvim. His ancient Hebrew name was “Mizmorim”, means Psalms.
