The Sinai War 1956
The Sinai War, also known as “Kadesh Operation” was a military attack on Egypt by Israel, Britain and France on 29 October 1956. The attack followed Egypt's decision of 26 July 1956 to nationalize the Suez Canal after the withdrawal of an offer by Britain and the United States to fund the building of the Aswan Dam.
Six-Day War 1967

War of Attrition 1969 – 1970
The War of Attrition was a limited war fought between the Israeli military and forces of the Egyptian military, and the Palestine Liberation Organization who forced the Israelis to negotiate on favourable terms the return of the Sinai from the Israelis, who had been in control of the territory since the mid-1967 Six-Day War.

First Lebanon War 1982 – 1985
The 1982 Lebanon War called by Israel the “Operation Peace of the Galilee”, and later colloquially also known in Israel as the First Lebanon War, began on 6 June 1982, when the Israel Defense Forces invaded southern Lebanon. The war ended after three years in 1985, when Israel stabilized in the safety strap lengthwise the border.
The Gulf War 1991
The Gulf War (2 August 1990 – 28 February 1991) was a conflict between Iraq and a coalition force from 34 nations authorized by the United Nations (UN) and led primarily by the United States and the United Kingdom in order to return Kuwait to the control of the Emir of Kuwait.
Second Lebanon War 2006
The Second Lebanon War was a 33-day military conflict in Lebanon and northern Israel. The principal parties were Hezbollah paramilitary forces and the Israeli military. The conflict started on 12 July 2006, and continued until a United Nations-brokered ceasefire went into effect on 14 August 2006.
